Who cares about my week?

 Pretty sure you all know that pallets are all the rage in home decorating and projects! Well my friend hosted a pallet painting party and it was AWESOME!!! I am the top center & those are a few of my friends with theirs! 

 Since living in Florida we have had almost daily great weather. Seriously no more than a couple of hours of rain and then all sun! But this week has been SO rainy. He were getting in a quick walk before it poured down! My girl is also discovering her own personal style. She calls this dazzled up!

 Another great thing about our move is that my aunt lives across town. So we went over for dinner & a swim! Topped off with S'Mores!

 We also completed this seasons soccer! We will be playing again in the fall. She loves playing!

Other big news is our newest release over at Jamberry! Disney Collection by Jamberry.

 So it's time to link up with Doodle Bugs Teaching!! So take a look at what we have done this last week! 

 So in an effort to up our fruit and veggie intake we are now getting a box every other week from Front Porch Pickings! They bring me a box of local grown organic fruits and veggies! I love it! 

 Ok so this doesn't really match my box.... But our neighborhood has food trucks come to our neighborhood. This is a huge thing in Florida! All the neighborhoods love when they come in!

 Na's best friend had a party and there was an amazing face painter there!

 So is anyone else super excited about Gilmore Girls reunion? Yep I am! So as I type I am watching them all again on Netflix!

 Which it seems watching Gilmore Girls is a perfect seg-way into celebrating Mothers Day! My mom came and spent the weekend with us! So she had to eat food trucks, then go to soccer & swimming lessons. Then finally we went out to a great dinner right on the ocean! YUMMMMM

Lastly here is our newest close reading all about those amazing humans! Our mothers! Happy Mother's Day to all of you moms, grandmas, and aunts! 

5 for Friday April is Ending

So we are doing soccer and swimming lessons every Saturday. We have the BEST swim teacher! Then my girl is SO lucky to have her daddy as the best private coach. Had to make this a small photo because I am not sure she was listening!

Then Sunday afternoon we went with all of our awesome neighbors to pick blueberries! It was the cutest little farm with a lovely couple running it!

So picking blueberries then caused us to have to bake blueberry muffins for her class! She was so proud to share them!

Then the sad news of the week! He was my second celebrity crush! My first was Duran Duran. My oldest cousin would let me listen to them on his boom box! So sad to see this legend is gone! So glad I saw him in concert in 2004!

Florida 5 for Friday

Although I can't seem to consistently blog I am linking up with Doodle Bugs for my favorite linky!!! A few more than 5 but we have relocated to Florida so this is the perfect opportunity to share a few things that we love about Florida! 

So our obvious FAVE is the beach! We can go anytime we want! We live about 30 minutes away! I am able to pick Na up from VPK and we can have lunch at the beach! 

Also POOLS! There are pools everywhere! We also have a great swim instructor! Na looks forward to lessons all week long! 

When my son comes to visit he can fish in the lake behind our house! He loves that! 

When you live in Florida and your friends come to visit you are able to take them to see the Alligators! 

But one of the best parts of our move.....NEIGHBORS! We have the best neighborhood! All of these kids live right by us! We have celebrated all of the holidays with them! Na had instant BFF's! 

Last thing we are LOVING about Florida is the Florida Alphabet! Na came home from school singing this! So I created an alphabet line and cards to go with it. I am also working on black and white handwriting worksheets and alligator close reading activities!

So lots has changed since I last blogged!! Yep June was my last post EEK!!!! 

Well for anyone who might care I have left the classroom and work Jamberry full time in addition to continuing creating on TPT! 

But my biggest news is that my hubby accepted a job and we moved from Kansas to Florida!!

I am finally unpacked and it's time to get back to blogging!! Leave a comment if I still have any followers out there that would like a freebie from my store!! Leave your comment & email!!

Made It Monday- June 1

Linking up with 4th Grade Frolics for Made It Monday.

I always see the holiday decorations with painted blocks. I love these but never have time ahead to cut blocks, paint, and then decorate. So I have begun using my unit blocks to make holiday decorations for school and home.

I just measure the size I want to cover and then make a box to print and tape on the blocks. It is easy and quick. During the school year I have done clip art of children dressed for holidays just to add to the block area for play.
