Five for Friday-Ready to Cruise

We are linking with Doodle Bugs Teaching this week.

Living on the island and close to the beach, we are blessed to host our families for several days. They wanted to go zip lining. I am so glad they are over 18 and I don't have to go any more!

I know many are watching the World Cup. And yes, even I am getting hooked. Guess I love competitions more than I thought! So yes, I just made a few activities and decorations if you are having friends over and need more for the children to do or if you are in summer school.
Our Snoopy bike rack came in for my husband's office building. We had seen a larger one on the back of a truck one night when we went out to eat. So we got the man's card and had him make a smaller version.

Yes, I enjoying reading Autumn's post better than mine. (I think all mother's enjoy their children's talents more than their own.)
But she is busy getting missy ready for the cruise! I would rather post than do Na's hair. (I can't do Na's hair.)
I read today is National Flip Flop Day! Good or bad for your feet, some of yes get thrown back to childhood with no cares, when we put them on! Enjoy your summer. We will be out of touch for a week unless, we figure out a cheap way to stay in touch this week.

Neck ties for Dad!

Linking up with 4th Grade Frolics for Monday Made It.
Yes, the weeks are flying by now. My summer has started with wonderful house guest my beautiful niece and a friend of hers drove from Kentucky to hang with me at the beach. They got in several beach days, outlet shopping, and some nice dinners and local music!

Now it's time to get ready for Father's Day. I love shopping at resale shops. I did one of these last year but one of the kids took it home. So I had to hunt for more men's ties. This is my new necktie wreath to hang on the door for Father's Day.

I used a foam wreath form (that I also found at the resale shop) to start with then I cut the ties in different lengths and use hot glue to attach them to the wreath form. If you had a favorite color or design you could stick with that, but I like all the different patterns and colors!

We also have a fathers day unit with Math & ELA center activities as well as many quick print papers. Great for end of the year, summer fun, or summer school!

Part of the week was still at school. So Monday was my last day with kids! So my room is in rest mode!

Mom was able to touch up and get our Father's Day Unit finished & up. Just in case some of you are teaching summer school!
Here are my I'm out of school nails! Still in love with Jamberry let me know if you haven't tried them yet and need a sample!
