5 for Friday & A Free Fitbit

Schools out!!! I know I have been a gigantic slacker! Hope everyone else is done with school or on count down of single digits! This year is different from my last 11 years. I am taking next year off from teaching. Which is super scary and exciting. I will be staying home with my daughter! I will hopefully be able to blog and work on my teaching stuff more as well as do Jamberry which is what will be paying the bills around here! Hold on to the end of my post to see what we are GIVING AWAY!!! Yep you got it a fitbit!
The little lady on the left is my reason for the year off! She has this last year before kindergarten.

We has lots of fun last weekend! We had a softball tournament!
It was also Na's last day at daycare! We took bagels for the center and a spa gift card for the teacher!
We were blessed with family too! My step son is deploying to Qatar soon so they were able to come visit before that!

And now the part you have held on for! We have been so blessed and plan to spend this summer getting in shape. So we thought we would share the blessings and giveaway a fitbit!

  1. I would love a FitBit! It's hard for me to find time to work out, so I would love to know if what I do now is enough or not. Cleaning house?? Running after kids?? :) I feel like that's a work out in itself! I'm your neighboring blogger from SE Kansas, would love to meet up sometime! :) Have a great weekend!

  2. I would love to win a FitBit because I want to use this summer to get healthy too! I am in a combined credential and Master's program and I have class all through the summer so a FitBit would be perfect to track my activity and keep me motivated to exercise and stay healthy! As a future teacher, I love following blogs for ideas and inspiration and your blog is so inspiring! I am so excited for my future classroom and career! Best wishes to you during your year off; your daughter is so lucky to have a mother who will take time off to be with her! :)

  3. I think the FitBit is a great tool to track your activity throughout the day and make sure you get enough steps in. I'm hoping to win one for my daughter because she has made it a priority to get healthy and in shape while she is working on her master's degree and teaching credential.

  4. I have been wanting a FitBit for quite sometime now but haven't purchased one. It would be great to win! I have been trying to loose about 15 pounds for several months and just can't seem to shed it. I have six children and will turn 41 this year and it has definitely become harder to loose weight. I would love to have this tool to help me shed those extra pounds.

  9. A Fit Bit - WOW! That is an awesome giveaway. My fingers are crossed. I had actually, for a brief moment thought about taking a year off next year. This past year was exhausting- just one of those years. In the end I decided to keep truckin' on. My class coming up looks really good!!! Enjoy your time off!

  10. I have lost 111 pounds in the since Jan 22. I've still got 98 to go and my weight loss has slowed dramatically. My exercise physiologist recommended I get a fitbit to help me with my weight loss goals, but I am unable to afford one as a current graduate student. A fitbit would make so much of my process so much simpler.
